Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. What you are complaining of the painful red lump in the anal region appears to be bacterial infection of the skin. It might be happening on and of due to hormonal changes and as the bacteria might not have cleared completely. Make sure that you maintain good personal hygiene by washing the area with mild antiseptic solution like Povidine or Savlon. You need to take a course of oral antibiotics containing Amoxacillin and Clavalunic acid. Take analgesic medication like Ibuprofen after food for pain.
