Suggest Treatment For A Painful Red Lump On The Anal Area
I have a painful reddish bump that turns into a soar it only shows up after my period and it shows up every month in the same exact spot I have a dead smelling discharge as well I don t know what is going on when I had a my annual well woman s they didn t find anything but a yeast infection
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. What you are complaining of the painful red lump in the anal region appears to be bacterial infection of the skin. It might be happening on and of due to hormonal changes and as the bacteria might not have cleared completely. Make sure that you maintain good personal hygiene by washing the area with mild antiseptic solution like Povidine or Savlon. You need to take a course of oral antibiotics containing Amoxacillin and Clavalunic acid. Take analgesic medication like Ibuprofen after food for pain. You can use Neomycin cream for topical application. Gradually your symptoms should get better and such thing should stop recurring. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
