Suggest Treatment For A Painful Rash On The Armpit

I have rash under arms that starts as A red ring that increases in size for which the inside turns white then starts to spread in a circle pattern around the underarm . Then spreads to other side, after a week it is raised totally red itchy and perspiration irritates it. My doctor is unsure. Nothing has changed.

According to your history it seems to be case of tinea cruris which is a fungal infection of the body folds. You should keep your soap and towel separate. Dont share your clothes with others. Wear loose fitted cotton clothes and keep your underarms as dry as possible. You should also take tablet terbinafine 250 mg daily for 6 weeks along with tablet levocetrizine 5mg. You should apply luliconazole (lulifin) cream once a day for the same duration.
