Suggest Treatment For A Painful Lump On The Eyebrow

About a week ago I noticed a lump between the wrinkles right above my eyebrows. It doesn t hurt, nor is it red, but so noticeable that 2 days later my husband even asked me what it was (and I could get a radical haircut and he wouldn t notice lol). Should I be concerned?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
what you may be having is infection of saebaceous gland or infection of gland of zeis for it to be diiferentiated it must be seen where is the swelling in the eyelid margin if in margin its called stye(hordeolum externum)
if in the middle of eyelid its called chalazion
since it is painless i think its chalazion and conservative measures like hot compresses 15mins 2-4 timesa day are essential with eye and hand hygeine it wiil clear the lipid secretions and swelling will go if it still persist and causes trouble then steroid eyedrops and at last surgery to remove it may be done if it cause cosmetic deformity
