Suggest Treatment For A Meningioma

I have a meningioma. I have been told it has grown from 1.8 cm in 2009 to 2.8 cm in 2016. It is in the parietal lobe, with some mass effect on the brain, close to a central vein according to neurosurgeon. Original MRI mentioned atypical , current one states stable, despite growth. Should I consider having this removed, I am 56 and don t want it to grow to the point where it blocks this major vein at some point?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and welcome to Healthcamagic.
This is still small meningeoma but if there is sign of rapid growth or atypical borders then it should be treated surgically but it can always be followed frequently till these features occur.
I hope I have answered your query. I wish you a nice day.
