Hi..
Can understand your concern..
As per your complain due to fall there has been a trauma to the soft tissues in the area which got injured leading to inflammation as a result of
injury and there is formation of inflammatory exudate in the region from the inflamed tissues..
The bruises and red spots occurs due to damage to blood vessels leading to spilling of blood into the soft tissues and formation of
hematoma and bruising..
The swelling occurs due to accumulation of blood and exudate below the skin..
There is also accumulation of inflammatory cell and fibres in that area and at times the hematoma gets localised and encapsulated with the inflammatory tissue and forms a hard lump which takes a longer time to regress..
As the lump is gradually regressing with time you need not to worry and you can apply Thrombophob gel over the lump containing
Heparin sodium for faster disruption of hematoma..
Do alternate warm and
cold compresses over the lump as it helps in healing faster..
Hope this information helps..
