Suggest Treatment For A Autistic Child

Hello Doctor, My son is 3yr 4 months old . he is speechless,head-banging,rocking etc.but he point on things which he wants.he also obeys some of our orders.He pull his twin sister s hair.some time he took the footwears and bring them into his mouth.he was premature at weight of 1.8kg in 7.1/2 months.please help me how to treat my child?

Hi... treatment of Autism is more of psychological training Than drug therapy. I suggest you get your son evaluated by paediatric clinical psychologist. After the assessment your son needs to be given psychological training and support. Training will be directed even to the parents in the aspect of how to behave and improve your son's condition. He might also require hearing evaluation and speech therapy too.
