Suggest Treatment For Ulcerative Colitis
I am suffering from Ulcerative colitis since 2 years. I am 24 yrs old now. since last 1 year i was on remission with no steroids. Recently i had a relapse and my doc prescribed predmet 8 mg. i get joint pains. what r the likely side effects of this drug? is it ok to get colonoscopy done again? i got my first colonoscopy before 2 years. I am a female.

I really appreciate your concern, I would advise the get done the colonoscopy instead of taking the medicine because if this is not the same condition of colitis then no need to take any medicine, and if it is the colitis then one has to take the medicine least concern what the side effects are there because to cure the disease is must rather than to see the side effects hope this information helps.
