Suggest Treatment For Ulcerative Colitis?

I am a 27yr old male, diagnosed with UC about 1 yr ago. I take Colazal 750mg,3 tabs 3 times a day. I am currently being treated for a flare and have stared weaning from Prednisone. I am at 40 mg. I was improving until today when I started having more BMs,(appro. (9) . I have no pain or urgency but this PM saw light colored blood on the TP. Am I getting worse again?

Hello,

Getting intermittent more frequency of stool with light color blood is part of ulcerative colitis due to intestine flora disturbances. Addition of probiotics in current drug basket will give better results.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
