General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.
I can understand your concern.

The minimum duration of treatment in a case of tuberculosis is 6 months.
The treatment is given in two phases:

In the initial phase 4 drugs (Isoniazide, Rifampicin, Pyrazinamide & Ethambutol) are given for 2 months. In the continuation phase 2 drugs (Isonazide with Rifampicin) are given for 4 months.
I suggest you to continue the treatment for at least 6 months and have regular follow up with your treating doctor.
Also take high protein diet in the form of meat, fish, poultry, milk along with fruits and vegetables.

Hope this answers your query.
