Hi,

The treatment for Polyostotic fibrous dysplasia varies depending on the severity of symptoms, but it often involves a combination of medical management and surgery. Medical management usually involves pain management with pain medications and bisphosphonates to improve bone density and reduce the risk of fractures. Surgery may be recommended to remove the affected bone or stabilize a bone at risk of fracture.

It is recommended that you consult a specialist in Orthopedic surgery or a specialist in Musculoskeletal disorders to find the best treatment plan for your specific case. You can search for doctors specializing in Orthopedic surgery or Musculoskeletal disorders in Lexington, KY, by using websites such as Health grades or Zocdoc. You can also check with local hospitals and medical centers to see if they have specialists who treat Polyostotic fibrous dysplasia.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
