I have some queries...could anyone help me out

I am 27 years old, i have POC and have irregular periods...Doctor advised me to take meprate for 5 days and after that during 2nd day of my period i have been suggested to take ubiphene 50, two tablets daily night time till 6th day...and asked to come for follicular study...but when i see the side effect of these tablets i am sacred to take..is it safe to take this tablets...Is there any success rate??..could anyone help to get the answer for this
