Suggest Treatment For PCOS And Irregular Periods

Hi i m 28 year old sexually active woman, i have PCOS so i suffer from irregular periods. my last period was May 20 so i was advised to start Dupahston 10mg for 5 days to start my period. i started duphaston on Monday July 17 and stopped on Friday July 21, early morning of Tuesday 25 July i started seeing brown discharge and its been like this all day. i want to start Marvelon to regulate my period, i usually start MArvelon third day of my period but i have no idea if this brown discharge is considered period or no. P.S: i took a pregnancy test and it s negative.

Thanks for asking.
You have started withdrawal bleeding after the course of Duphaston. It is brown discharge to start with.... may take 2-3 days to start bleeding or being pcod ..it may be just scanty bleeding.
I would suggest to consult your gynecologist for starting treatment for pcod.( which can be with medicines to stimulate ovulation..being main symptom of pcod. ( exercises,management of overweight with diet control)/surgery to relieve ovarian size... which in turn regulates menses)
So I would advise to visit gynacologist's office after bleeding completes ,instead starting Marvelon on your own.
