Suggest Treatment For PCOD While On Fertigyn And Duphaston
hi its me mythili.. i got married two and half years before but we started doing intercourse just 6 months before. Because my husband had some erection problem. Meanwhile i had developed PCOD.So getting pregnant is so difficult for me now. On 19thday egg size in right ovary is 21x15mm after taking humog 150 injection. Again on 21st day doctor told me to take fertigyn 5000 and duphaston tablets for 15days. if it doesnt work doctor told me to go IUI.. is there any possibility for me to get pregnant on next month?
Hi Mythili, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. It appears from your description that the eggs are maturing well but is happening little late, despite medications. In such cases, it would be difficult to conceive naturally as in PCOD, mensteual cycle needs to be regular as well as ovulation should take place in time. If ovulation occurs late and even if fertilization occurs, implantation might not take place as endometrium wouldn't have been prepared to accept the fertilized ovum. Hence, it would be ideal for you to go for assisted reproductive techniques like IUI or IVF with proper preparation as your doctor has suggested. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
