Suggest Treatment For Magnesium Deficiency In A Diabetic

I am a67yr old type,2 Diabetic. I have a lot of symptoms indicating magnesium deficiency I would like to take more foods containing mag. but worry that having high creatine kidney levels that may not be a good idea. Last year my doctor put me on insulin only 4mm but took me off after a month or so as I was having fasting hypos overnight can you advise a course of action. Thanks, Ron Sanderson
