Suggest Treatment For 100% Blockage In The Left Circumflex Artery
Currently Coronary cath showed 95% blockage omi which was stented and 100% blockage of left circumflex which they were unable to stent. The circumflex was cause of first heart attack in 1998 with 96% blockage treated with meds and has since been stented 3 times after multiple restenosis. Have been told options to correct blockage is either laser treatment or bypass. How dangerous is it to leave the circumflex with 100% blockage understanding that 96% blockage caused initial heart attack 18 yrs ago.

By now it might have developed collaterals and that is the reason you are still doing fine. More than 75% blockage, i.e., critical stenosis needs revascularisation (angioplasty-stenting) or by-pass surgery. Leaving 100% stenosis untreated in multi-vessel disease has poor prognosis.
