Suggest Treamenrt For Swollen Upper Eyelid
hi doctor, I am suffering from sweling at upper side of right side eye in last 3 days. so i check up from my local doctor, they suggest me to take moxikind cv 625 tablet for 3days course. So pl suggest me from ur end this tablet is right for this illeness. Any side effect ?

From the description you have given, it is not clear, whether you have this swelling inside the eye or on the eyelid.
If the swelling is on the eyelid, and is painful, then probably you have a lid infection, called as stye. For this you can use an antibiotic eyedrop and eye ointment with hot compress. T Voltaren 50 mg twice daily after meals will also help.
In any case it is better to continue the oral antibiotic, for 3 days as advised.

Swelling of the upper eye lid what you are having is due to the infection of some of the glands of eyelid. What the doctor has prescribed is antibiotics, for which the infection should respond positively.
In addition, kindly give hot fomentation for the lesion about 3 times a day and apply antibiotic cream using applicaps at bedtime till the lesion completely heals.
