Suggest Therapy For Stress

I feel very low in mood but im not sure why. My life in general is happy however i do have the stress of living with my three young step children. I have recently become unemployed but i am starting a new job very soon which i am all of a sudden dreading even though i know it will do me good to be away from home for small periods and keep me active. I am constantly tired, feel sick, and need the toilet a lot to empty my bowels which is not normal for me. I dont know if i have SAD although i do feel like this often at the same time of year winter. But with recent events im not sure if it is that. The stepchildren are also new to me. I dont want to take medication so what else can i do. I dont want to go out in public even though i know i probably should just for a walk or something. I feel anxious.

Hello
Welcome here.
I think you have some adjustment issues due your life situations which causing stress and anxiety.

I can understand that you donot want to take medicines and feel anxious to go outside.

You can practice deep breathing and meditation on your own at your home. This will help you to relax and keep your mind calm.

Engage yourself in household activities like gardening, cooking etc. Find out time for your hobbies like reading, listenibg to music etc.

Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol and smoking (if you do) as these increase anxiety.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.
