Suggest Therapy For Depression

this is about my mom. shes 48 and me and my dad have been noticing a lot of strange emotional behaviors in her over the past couple of years. at first, we just kinda passed that off as menopause. but, trust me, nobody has menopause for 10 years. she actually just finished it about two years ago if that makes any difference. anyways, my mom cries for absolutely no reaason all the time. she gets angry out of nowhere for absolutely NOTHING. and then the very next minute she will be as happy as a clam. she spends her entire life either sleeping cleaning or at work. she brings her work issues home with her all the time and just cries and cries over them. i know that she has gone to the doctor over this several times and has actually been put on medicine for it. im sorry but i dont know the name of it. but she recently, like a week ago took it upon herself to take herself off the medicine. i know that she was on it for at least two months and to me, i honestly didnt see any improvements. lately, my dad and i have also been noticing that she tends to repeat things over and over and over and over and over again. we just want whats best for her but its hard to figure out whats wrong without her actually going to a doctor. we need somewhere to start so my dad can get her to go back to the doctor. ive been looking up stuff online but really havent gotten anywhere. we just want my mom to be happy again all the time becuase i personally cant take it anymore. i know every teenager has issues with their parents, but this is borderline insanity. i cant talk to my mom about anything without her flying off the handle. i cant describe the way that she acts in words without showing you. but please, if you know of ANYTHING that might be able to help i would appreciate it. please help if you can. i personally cant take this any longer.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I hope you or your father spoke to your mother with sympathy. She is depressed, for sure. But why? What could be reason? You need to find out. Menopause could be one. The hormonal imbalance after menopause could trigger depression and it could last for some years. I suspect, there is more to it. I suspect borderline personality disorder. Consult a psychiatrist immediately.

If you require more of my help in this aspect, please use this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
