Suggest The Cause For Red Rashes Under Armpit In Males With Carney Complex

My husband has a very red rash under one armpit. He says it does not itch. It appeared in the last week. There is a large skin tag or pimple in the armpit that he says hurts. I should add that he has carney complex/cushings and has no adrenal glands. He is treating it with neosporin. Should he go to urgent care?

Understanding your concern. As per your query your husband have symptoms of red rashes under armpit in males with carney complex. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like allergic reaction , lymph node enlargement, lipoma , insect bite and abscess. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor will examine physically , order blood test , skin patch test and biopsy . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics . anti inflammatory , Doctor may also order mammogram to rule out breast cancer . For now keep your skin clean , apply warm compresses and take antihistamine like benadryl.
