Dear patient
Unprotected sex has every chance of hiv infection if your partner was infected with hiv virus. Oral sex has very rare possibility of hiv infection. Symptoms of hiv infection starts within one month of infection. You should be investigated with rapid test for hiv antibodies. This test takes time to become positive. Elisa and pcr are more sensitive and helps in early diagnosis. Remember one thing once hiv virus is inside your body it's there for lifetime. It can be controlled with medication but cannot be eradicated. So avoid sex with unknown partner and always use protection if required.
