Suggest Specialist To Be Consulted For Sore Knees And Ankles
Hello My daughter is 13 and is a gymnast. she is always complaining of sore knees and ankles. I have had her tested for arthritis(blood test) and it was negative. I am wondering what kind of Dr. would be able to help her. when is comes to sports related injuries her pediatrician doesn t seem to put much effort into any kind of recovery process other than the typical RICE.

I really appreciate your concern, for your daughter in my opinion chances of some collagen disease need to be ruled out here, if it is ever found then this could be self limiting because this is autoimmune disease, hope this information helps, take care.
