Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My son is 3.5 yrs old and we are having a hard time potty training him for his poops. He went really well one weekend and then stopped. His bowel movements are very sticky and messy. He was drinking lots of milk and doesn't like drinking a whole lot of water. Does he need more fibre and would it help? What can I use? I fear if we don't do something now he won't be able to go to school next September
Hi, Thanks for asking. If he has regular bowel movements then try putting him on the potty seat just before his potty time and give him some favourite toy to make him seated there. Give him a reward for using the potty. If he does not do in potty seat and then does it in nappies then do not scold him. I hope these tips will help you.
