Suggest Solution For Frequent Urination And Pain Around Belly Button?

Have a friend that has a daughter that is 4 years old and peeing a lot but does not have a high intake of liquid. She sometimes feels like she has to pee but just dribbles. Went to the Dr and they I think checked UTI and said it was negative but checked no more and said nothing was wrong with her. The mother has felt a like knot on her side and said it is their sometimes and sometimes not. She does have pain with touch of hand below the belly button area. Would like some input of what she should do.

Urologist 's  Response
Hi.
A knot onthe left side may be a lymph node or a benign swelling. Hence probably not to worry about it. With complaint of frequent urination and negative for UTI, U need to get ultrasound KUB and a voiding diary.
Voiding diary will show pattern of intake of fluids and urine output. She may need bladder training based on the report.
Ultrasound will rule out any stone in kidney, ureter or bladder or hydronephrosis in kidney. Hydronephrosis may signify reflux disease or obstruction due to any stone lower down.
Kindly follow up with reports.
