Suggest Solution For Cystic Acne And Ingrown Hairs On Face And Back

i have been experiencing cyst like painful bumps that I have been told by different dr.`s that it is cystic acne and also infected ingrown hairs. I moved to Wisconsin over 10years ago. I have this condition on my mid back, face, buttocks and shoulders . It spreads and is very painful and crazy itchy ! This has been going on for the past 3 years and last this time has been over a year with this on my back ,face and buttocks...i am scared and miserable they seem to be almost like a cyst or bad pimple at first that is extremely painful i then have to dig out the cyst for relief and then it becomes crusty and almost like a cluster of tiny blisters and the ones that have gone away i had to patiently remove the infected skin area for it to go away ???? Please help I have had a herpes test on it and was negative.

Hi Dear,

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of cystic acne and ingrown hairs on face and back which is severest form of acne and it occurs when a pore in your skin gets clogged, usually with debris, bacteria and dead skin cells and causing area to be red and swollen. I would suggest you to exfoliate gently once or twice a day with a salicylic acid-based exfoliant. Apply benzoyl peroxide cream or gel for killing the bacteria in the pore. It could be due to hormonal change during puberty , androgen hormones stimulate more sebum to be produced and a greater amount of skin cells to proliferate. You should wash your face using a clindamycin gel with mild soap and lukewarm water. If condition doesn't improve in a week then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe chemical peeling and laser therapy.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
