Sebowash shampoo which you have been using contains fluocinolone , which is a synthetic topical corticosteroid that has anti-inflammatory, anti-itching and vasoconstrictive properties. It is used to treat seborrhoeic dermatitis of the scalp. Common side effects include: dryness, folliculitis, acne, allergic dermatitis, secondary infection, skin atrophy, stretch marks, sweat or heat rash, burning, itching, irritation and hypopigmentation.
