Suggest Safe Way To Gain Weight

Hi, doctor, I am 21 year old. I am now studying higher studies. My body is very lean. I have taken many kind of tablets, nutrition drinks, energy drinks, Ayurveda medicines like natural medical mixings. but my body still in lean. All my friends and relations says don t u eat well, what a lean man u are, your body is continuously going thin . And that is true, my body is continuously becoming thin. I don t want to become fat, but I don t want be lean. Please help to resolve my problem.. How can I grow well.

Hi,

The cause of inability to gain weight should be identified.Nutritional deficiency, chronic infections, malabsorption syndromes, parasitic infestations, hyperthyroidism should be ruled out. The cause should be treated along with dietary changes.Healthy diet is foremost important for weight gain. Increase your daily protein intake to see good results. Calculate your daily protein requirement based on body weight. Increase pulses, beans, eggs, curd and meat in your diet. Protein powder along with milk can be twice a day. Adequate hydration is also essential.
