Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. You have done the right thing by taking Unwanted 72 right on the day of having unprotected intercourse. It is an emergency contraceptive pill which would cause break through bleeding to prevent pregnancy. Hence, you need to get your periods within 3 weeks from the day you have taken the pill. In case it is delayed beyond that, you need to seek medical attention immediately. Since it appears that the period has been delayed for long, you need to urgently consult Gynecologist and get evaluated for pregnancy or for the cause for delay in periods. In case you are pregnant and wish to terminate the pregnancy, you can do it by taking abortion pills until 9 weeks of pregnancy, but under medical supervision. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
