Suggest Safe Medication For Yeast Infection

Hi, I just finished taking antibiotics for a sinusitis and I started feeling itching and burning in my vulva. I used Tioconazole-1, and in the next two days the symptoms did not get better and I started having a white, non-odorous discharge. On day 3 I got my period, and the symptoms got better. Now, it s been 6 days since I used the Tioconazole and I still feel itchy and burning. Can I treat it with a different yeast infection OTC medication? Which one would be the best? I just started a new job and don t have health coverage yet. Is there any harm in trying another OTC treatment? Thanks.

Hi,

It can occur recurrently. Stick to Ticonazole for at least 5 days. Even after that if you still have issues see a gynecologist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
