Going for passing motion 3-4 times a day which is semiliquid and full of mucus which is blood stained sometimes can be due to the following reasons: Colitis with amoebiasis. Intestinal infection. Cancer of colon. This can be diagnosed by the following: Get the stool tests done on three consecutive days. Get a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and see the progress. if no complete relief within 5 days of the above course get a colonoscopy done to get the appropriate diagnosis and proper management with additional investigations if needed.
