Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your situation and problem.
You are having foreign body aspiration.
Candy will not show on chest x ray because it is non metallic structure.
For diagnosis of foreign body aspiration, bronchoscopy is must.
Bronchoscopy will also helpful in removal of foreign body if at all present in lung.
So it is both diagnostic as well as therapeutic intervention.
So better to consult pulmonologist and discuss all these and get done bronchoscopic evaluation.
Hope I have solved your query.
I will be happy to help you further.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
