Im a 30 year old male and I have had an itchy penis for 5 or 6 months now and, it doesn't itch all the time only, its on and off but sometimes it gets really bad. When showering and cleaning my penis white stuff gets rubbed off it.
A few weeks ago I visited my GP and he examined it and didnt find a rash. Funny thing was when it was coming up to the time to see the GP it did not itch at all, but a few days later it began to itch yet again.
I then decided to use Canestan Hydrocortisone cream on it, applying it thinly once a day for 6 days, this helped as it did not itch and got rid of the white stuff that appeared everyday. A few days later, I started masturbating again and the itch returned, I am tempted to use the Hydrocortisone cream again but not sure if that would cause a thinning of the skin. Would it be safe enough to use it again? It has been just over a week since I last used it.
Or better still is there any other kinds of cream I can use to stop this itch?
