My husband had a severe episode of depression about 2 years ago which resulted in him having a year off work . Over the period he gradually improved with anti depressants and counselling howecver over the past month he has gone downhill again. He came to my workplace this morning to tell me he couldn't face work again and is feeling very edgy, tense and didn't know what to do. He has made an appointment to see his GP but not until next week and is seeing his counsellor again tomorrow. I am sooo worried about him and also the financial implications as I cannot sustain us and he doesn't get paid when off work - we can't cope financially if this spirals and certainly mentally I am not strong enough to go through this again myself as I am now suffering from a degenerative back problem which leeaves me in much pain and feeling very low myself. What can I do to help him and me?
