Thanks for posting your question on HCM!
I can understand your problem regarding infertility.

You had undescended testes on both the sides.
Normally the testicles are formed in the abdomen during fetal development. During the last couple of months of normal fetal development, the testicles gradually descend from the abdomen through a tube-like passageway in the groin (inguinal canal) into the scrotum. In order for testicles to develop and function normally, they need to be slightly cooler than normal body temperature. The scrotum provides this cooler environment.

If the testicles do not descend they remain in the abdomen or in groin.
In order to prevent the complications of undescended testes like infertility and testicular cancer later, a surgical operation (orchiopexy) is done to correct their position and fix them in the scrotal sac.
This is usually done between 3 months to 12 months of the age to reduce the risk of complications.

Low sperm counts, poor sperm quality and decreased fertility are more likely to occur among men who've had an undescended testicle.

Since the surgical operation was delayed in your case, that could be reason behind azoospermia.
You are advised to consult your doctor for the follow up.
Best regards!
