Suggest Remedy To Give Medicine To Infant

My baby is 6.5 months old and has been prescribed flucloxacillin but she just won't take it - she keeps spitting it out. Can you please advise if I can mix it with juice or advise how I can get her to keep it down? I am worried she's not getting her full dosage - this is only day 2 of the course. Many thanks.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
As you said it is difficult to administer medicines to the baby.
Dilute with water to lessen the adverse taste for good compliance.
You can give the medicine in 2-3 lots at frequent short intervals.Give some glucose water or sweetened milk to reduce after taste.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
Take care
