Suggest Remedy For Wound On The Ankle Post Injury

I was in a bike accident 11 days ago and one of the wounds I have on my ankle seems to be getting a little worse. It has a scab that has a very reddish/purple ring around it. My ankle was swollen but that has gone down. It is very sore to touch around the wound. I have been putting Neosporin on it. Do you think it could be infected?
