Suggest Remedy For Vomiting, Foul Smelling Burps And Diarrhea

I ate at Outback last night and had prime rib and a sweet potato. At three thirty this morning I was throwing up. I ve had the same feeling all day and at 230 pm it hit me again. I also started getting diarrhea. Lastly, my breath has the fouls odor when I burp.

Based on your symptoms , you have gastroenteritis which is infection/inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract.

It can cause all or some of the following: nausea, loss of appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, the mouth odor.

You need to hold off any solid food until there is a 4 hour period with no symptoms. At that time start small amounts of solid food.

In addition, you can consider: (1)the use of probiotics either on their own or in yogurts
(2)fluids are very important to treat or prevent dehydration. Oral rehydration fluids or gatorade would be best.
