Suggest Remedy For Urine Infection And Constant Urge To Urinate

i have been suffering from urine infection since oct 2014 till now..i feel to discharge urine again and again. the discomfort of the disease is not regular it lasts for 2 to 3 days and then back to normal....once in dec 2014 i concern a physician he suggested some medicine and ask me to take plenty of water and he said that it normal and not be so worried about it...please suggest me what to do

I have gone through your query. For recurrent urinary infection you should get a urine routine as well as culture and sensitivity test. If you were my patient with a positive sign of infection from urine routine then i would suggest antibiotic like nitrofurantoin and verify the culture result and change it if necessary later. Antibiotic should be taken for 7 to 10 days. Culture of urine again should be done to make sure that you are free from infection. Taking cranberry juice and barley water is helpful to alkalize urine and prevent urinary infection. Also increase intake of plain water.
