Please type your query here...hello, my dad had TURP done in june this year since then he had UTI and now from past two weeks we came to know about him suffering from URETHERAL STRICTURE and calibration done twice can he take MIRAQULE 50 for strength as gone weak and has delicate stomach.
* The urethral stricture after prostate surgery usually involves prostatic part of the urethra.
* Though urethral dilatation gives primary symptomatic relief, in my clinic, I do suggest the patient undergo either vesico internal urethrotomy ( VIU ) or urethroplasty depending upon the clinical severity and evaluation for a definite cure.
* Primary concern is with avoidance of urinary tract infection and retention of the urine with due care.
