Geriatrics Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. You seem to be suffering from peripheral neuropathy due to complication secondary to uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
2. This has led to symptoms of burning feet and possible sensory loss in foot, as though keeping on something foot or without sensation.
3. This has led to loss of balance. You need to control blood sugar within the normal range to avoid further damage and also need to take Vit B12 and alpha lipoic acid supplements.
4. Walking stick is necessary. You need to wear special footwear, even inside house and need to always look forward to make sure, you are keeping your foot well. For dislocated shoulder, you will require physiotherapy.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
