Suggest Remedy For Traumatic Stress After An Accident
My 16 year old son was in a fatal car accident in October he was a front seat passenger wearing a seatbelt he was unharmed but his cousin 18 died they crashed at 100 mph, since then he has been having nightmares of this and his heart near beats out of his chest for about 30 minstrel till he calms down could he have post traumatic stress.

Hi, this is known as post traumatic stress disorder PTSD in psychiatry. Non medical treatment like counselling and cognitive behavior therapy with medicines like alpha agonists, beta blockers,glucocorticoids would be helpful.
I think he requires pshychitrics consultation and believe me it would be really helpful as your son is quite youg ,just 16.
