Welcome to healthcare magic for your health queries
I am Dr Fahim, General Surgeon and I will be addressing your health problem
I have gone through your question and understood your concerns. Testicular torsions if treated promptly (which is surgical exploration) ie within 6hrs of its onset, usually results in smooth recovery. But you mentioned that it was treated with antibiotics, which arises suspicions of some infective processes in the testis rather than a torsion. It might be Epidimo-orchitis which is the infection of epididymis and testis, or Orchitis. For which antibiotics are routinely used and respond well to this treatment. Coming to size of the testis, in children the size remains small till the age of puberty. At Puberty a substantial increase along with secondary sexual characteristics can be noted. I think you need not to worry about it, at max you can have an ultrasound of testis. Rest just wait and see till puberty.
Wishing you and your son all the best.
