Suggest Remedy For Swollen Eyes With Itchy Patches On Face
Hello, I had an allergic reaction to something. My eyes are swollen, I can see though. My face has dry thick itchy patches. And I feel like my armpits are starting to swell up. I have left over triamcinolone acetonide cream from a previous allergic reaction, do you think I may apply a thin amount on my face and armpits?

Hi. I think you need to get this evaluated and managed at an ER. If the facial swelling progresses to the throat then it can get dangerous. You may also need injectable or oral steroids to manage the condition. A local cream may not suffice.

The application of the triamcinolone would help to reduce your allergic inflammatory response.
This should be combined with an oral antihistamine, the antihistamine would really help. These are available over the counter eg benadryl, claritine, allegra, zyrtec
