Suggest Remedy For Swollen And Red Foot After Using Corn Removal Bandage

I used a Dr Scholl s one step corn remover bandage yesterday on bottom of my foot. Today my foot is swollen and red . I removed bandage . I m obviously having an allergic reaction. What can I take or do to reduce swelling? Cold compress and would taking some Benadryl help?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have swollen and red foot after using corn removal bandage . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like arthritis , gout , nerve damage or injury, such as sciatica , blocked blood vessels or infection in the joint . The symptoms can also occur due to infection after corn removal. Your doctor has prescribed you right medicines , continue taking then as per prescription . If condition doesn't get well then consult doctor again for proper examination . Doctor may recommend physical therapy , prescribe muscle relaxant along with stretching exercises . For now keep your feet in hot water tub with one spoon of water .
