I had an ingrown hair that I tried popping and it swelled up and is very painful, I need it gone as soon as possible because I have a physical for the military and I can t have it. Can I drain it at home? I don t want to be cut open because I cannot have any scars

It seems that due to popping ingrown hair boil there might be having precipitating infection leading to induration, cellulitis.
Do not try any procedure by yourself.
Go for one course of antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines for 5 days.
Consult your doctor and let him do dressing with proper clening the wound.
