Suggest Remedy For Swelling In Leg Due To Mosquito Bite

My 4 year old has around 15 mosquito bites on his lower leg. It is very swollen. His temp is 99.1. His leg is red and feels a little warm by a few of the bites. He is not complaining of any pain anywhere. He has itched the bites quite a bit. I am wondering if I should just keep him on benadryl for a few days or take him to a doctor.

Welcome to HCM, I have gone through you query and understood your concerns, I think you're doing the right thing but it would be helpful if you try to release the local symptoms on his leg, I advice you apply a cold compresses 3 times a day 20/minutes then you can use an steroid (OTC ) cream, keep the benadryl plus some fever reducer, If past few days he doesn't improve or worse it could be a lymphangitis process and you should go to the doctor. I hope that my advice has been helpful, take care
