Suggest Remedy For Swelling, Burning And Bad Bruise On Shin After A Fall

I fell in our garage today and landed on my left knee and leg. I have an OSTRICH EGG on my shin and I have had ice on it for over an hour. It is burning without anything touching it and is not going down. I take Warfarin, and I am concerned about this bad bruise.

Hi
Welcome to healhcaremagic
After going through your query I concluded that you may be having hematoma over your shin. If you have no fever then no need to worry much. Hematoma resolve itself in due course of time itself. Thrombophobe gel local application without rubbing may help in resolving it. Sometimes it doesn't resolve itself. In that case you need to visit your doctor for aspiration by wide bore needle. You can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. You can discuss with your doctor about it. You are taking warferine, please discuss about it to your treating doctor. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
