Suggest Remedy For Swelling Below Eye After A Sinus Surgery

I had sinus surgery on my left sinus about 7 months ago and have had increased swelling of my ocularis oculi (below my left eye) ever since. Dental examinations and CT scans have turned up negative and I've been told my sinuses remain clear. I'm getting increasingly concerned because along with this increased swelling, my nasal congestion (particularly on my left side) has gotten worse. Please help with some insight / suggestions.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complain the symptoms of swelling below the eye and nasal congestion are indicative of sinus infection and your symptoms sems related to it only..
You need to consult an expert ENT surgeon and get evaluated and he can advise an MRI of sinuses and re check for the sinus infection and inflammation..
In case of sinus infection he can advise you a course of antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers, decongestants, steroids and also saline nasal irrigations, steroid nasal sprays and decongestant nasal spays..
Avoid chilled foods and air conditioned atmosphere.
Steam inhalations and using a humidifier in your room can help..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
