Hello,

I can understand your concern for swelling and soreness in lower lip after smoking meth.

I can make out form your query that you have developed chemical burn due to crystalline meth.

I suggest you to not touch or pinch or pop the area. In the food you should take bland liquid diet or light food with less spice to reduce irritation and to get the healing early and reduce the pain part. You can do cold compression and icing over the affected area.

Next thing you should do is to take painkillers for couple of days under medial supervision. In my patients I suggest them to apply an antibiotic cream such as mupirocin or gentamycin.

It may take up to 7 days for complete healing so do not get anxious for early healing.

All the best.
