Suggest Remedy For Sun Burn And Blisters On The Arms

I live in Anaheim, California and not too long ago we had a heat wave where the temperature of 90-100 degrees Fahrenheit. I spent a good time outside without any sunscreen wearing a sleeveless shirt and rather than get a sunburn which I would usually get, I got tiny little blisters, which I call micro-blisters, all over my arms. By the way I am 58 years old and female. Should I be concerned?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi.
As per your case history of sunburn, my treatment advice is -
1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with spf more than 30.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on affected skin.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine for itching and NSAID like ibuprofen for pain.

Thanks.
Dr. Harshit bhachech.
