Suggest Remedy For Stomach Pain And Vomiting In A Child

Hi. My 7 yr old dtr has been waking at 6am with tummy pain and vomiting for 2 mornings. Last night/morning it was at 1 am and was mostly undigested. Smelled like yeast. Slight fever. Back to bed and felt fine upon waking. She feels fine during the day, tho today she complained of pain below rib cage (above tummy area) but that was gone before noon. She eats normally, (healthy) drinks normal, no increase in thirst. No pain with urination. Her output is normal. Can u advise??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to hcm,
Based on the symptoms I think your child could be having acute gastritis. I advise you to give proton pump inhibitors empty stomach in the morning and antispasmodic for few days. Maintain the hydration properly. If the symptoms doesn't subside then consult your doctor for proper diagnosis.

Thank you
